Hentai Fans Airbrush a Mangallardo
In what might be the most bizarre cross-cultural phenomenon we've ever experienced, a Japanese adult video game publisher has combined his love of attractive women, exotic Italian cars, and eroge into ultra-exclusive itasha -- the Japanese fad of painting cars with comic and video game characters.
Britons Deploy Dummies to Slow Speeding Drivers
Picture the scene -- you're late for a big meeting with the boss so you're hauling ass through the quaint British town of Lockeridge when you round a corner to see two kids about to dart into traffic. Augh! Brakes!
The joke's on you, pal. You've been had by a "scare car," lifelike dummies created by the fine citizens of the village in Wiltshire to exorcise speed demons and maintain the pastoral calm of their small town (pop. 1,649).

You know that friend you had in high school who drove a total crapped-out
rat rod? Everyone made fun of him for his rust bucket -- but that's only because they were jealous that he got to drive the thing while everyone else had to look at it. We imagine that friend would probably buy a

Drive if You Dare: The World's Scariest Cars
In honor of Halloween, we'd like to salute some of the most frightening cars ever built by asking WWBBPD? (What Would Bobby "Boris" Pickett Drive?) Mama Mia! Italian Police Roll In A Lamborghini
Don't even think about trying to outrun the cops in Lazio, Italy, unless you can do 204 mph because the boys in blue are rollin' in a 560-horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo that'll do 203.
The Italian automaker today handed Antonio Manganelli, head of the Italian State Police, the keys to a Gallardo LP560 "Polizia" model that makes the Dodge Charger and Carbon E7 police cars look like a Crown Vic on its last legs. No word where Manganelli is now, but somehow we suspect the 30 officers personally trained by Lamborghini's test drivers will be waiting quite awhile for their turn behind the wheel.
The Autopia WTF? Art Car Photo Caption Contest
We spend a lot of time surfing Flickr looking for photos to illustrate our posts, and once in awhile we find something that makes us say, "WTF?" Something like this, for example.
This art car looks like an explosion in bad taste. From beads and baubles to dolls and deities, this things got it all, at least twice. There's even a fountain in the back seat. We have no idea what the creator of this art car is trying to say, so we're going to let you tell us. That's right, it's time for another of our world-famous, always-entertaining Autopia WTF? photo caption contests.
A $110,000 Motorcycle as Ugly as It Is Expensive
We know Confederate Motor Company can design sweet motorcycles because its first bike,
the Wraith, is all kinds of awesome. But we've gotta wonder what the company's designer was smoking when he penned the new
Renaissance Fighterand whether he'll share it with the people Neiman Marcus thinks will drop $110,000 to buy one.
Giant Homemade Chinese Transformers Kick Bot

A scrap metal dealer from Zhejiang Province, China, has fulfilled a childhood dream and won a place in our hearts by building a bunch of Transformers-like pseudo-bots out of junked cars.
