When we put the production Ford Kuga next to its progenitor, the Iosis X show car, on our test drive in Belgium, we couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. The Kuga is a fine looking cute-ute, but lacks the aggressive styling that made the Iosis X such a show stopper. Ford promised to close the gap a little with the Individual version of the Kuga, launched here in Paris.

Honda Motor Co. wants to challenge the eco-supremacy of the Toyota Prius and bring hybrids to the masses with the dirt-cheap gas-electric Insight hatchback it unveiled today at the
Paris Motor Show.

It's about 6:00PM in the City of Lights and our rag tag team of bloggers is running on empty after having brought you the first day of debuts at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Soon they'll be attending after parties and getting drunk on champagne, so we're here to run down the biggest unveilings of the day while you eat your brown bag lunch back in the States. Paris Motor Showcontinues with another close-up of the Estoque, but a leaked concept drawing provides the full monty of a car that continues Sant'Agata's tradition of drawing inspiration from bull fighting when naming its most lust-inducing hardware.

Pininfarina's had a rough time of it lately, what with its huge debt and the death of its CEO. But now that it's gotten a little breathing room from its creditors, the famed Italian coach builder is proceeding with plans for an electric car it will unveil at the Paris Motor Show.

While Honda's determined to make hybrids affordable with the bargain-basement Insight, it seems German automakers want to make gas-electric vehicles as expensive -- and quick -- as their best sedans. Hot on the heels of Mercedes' announcement that it'll have a $100,000 hybrid in showrooms next year comes a luxo-barge concept from BMW that produces more than 400 horsepower.

Lamborghini's bringing something to the Paris Motor Show so amazing the company promises "it's not just a new Lamborghini, it's a whole new world." What that means is anyone's guess, because the one photo of this wonder-Lambo reveals less than an Amish swimsuit.
